Never forget you...

My mother called me everyday during my bout with COVID... my symptoms were mild, but the battle with vertigo was brutal. I was getting desperate during the intense episodes of dizziness, nausea and vomiting, and I remember asking God to stay with me and not leave me to suffer alone... He was faithful as always, providing comfort through my family, prompting friends to call and offer assistance; and Mum was unwavering in her concern; she did not forget her child...
God's word in Isaiah speaks to me loud and clear:
"Can a mother forget her infant,
be without tenderness for the child of her womb?
Even should she forget,
I will never forget you." (Is 49:15)
So, in case you missed it, I'll say it again... God will never forget you! Maybe you're feeling lonely or forgotten... God is with you. Perhaps you've been the forgetter or forsaker- ask for forgiveness; Jesus is still offering healing if you'll accept it! Lent is the time for repentance, the time for reconciliation; the time for mercy; the time to pay attention to the needs of others; the time to turn over your hurts to your Father who loves you and will never forget you!
