Step forward...

"Did God really say..."

The enemy is still

slithering,

slinking,

surreptitious...

still spewing lies,

offering opportunities to doubt,

tantalizing with the taste of knowledge, of power, of pleasure...

Yet, we are called to so much more...

there's life, abundant life, within our grasp...

Can you hear Jesus inviting us to stretch out a hand?

to trust;

to just step forward and reach for Him...

And the sad reality is...

that unclean spirit within already knows His Name;

knows the power in that Name;

can't even stand in His presence-

is already falling down before Him and shouting,

"You are the Son of God."
