They recognized His voice...

I was thinking about how we're so bombarded with information that it's hard to know what's true anymore.

It's like we're drowning in a discordant sea of sound: different voices and opinions vying for our ear; our search for knowledge oftentimes leaving us confused and flustered... what is true?

We've allowed thieves and robbers to enter our sheepfold: our Church and homes. We've become so distracted by the world, by the noise, by our wants and desires that we're muffling the voice of our Good Shepherd. We have to strain and retrain our ears to recognize our Savior above the voices of strangers. The Good Shepherd truly knows and loves His sheep. He calls us by name, He leads us, He feeds us, He restores our souls. He came that we might have abundant life, and He is the Truth we seek.
