Two small coins...

As you come into the temple,

what offering will you bring?

Will your sacrifice be worthy;

how will you serve your King?

Will your gift be from your surplus;

with no sacrifice or pinch?

Will you brag or fuss about it,

and not be moved an inch?

Will you make a show for all to see;

will your charity be lean?

Will you preach what you don't practice,

or say what you don't mean?

Let the humble widow be your guide;

she gave more than all the rest...

Two small coins from two poor hands;

and yet, she gave her best...
